BLIZZARD HOCKEY: 2024-25 CALL FOR COACHES! REPLY BY JULY 1st.

We would like to hear from everyone interested in coaching (and assisting) on Blizzard Teams of all levels in 2025-26.

Both beginner and experienced coaches are wanted! We also want to hear from youth coaches ages 16-24 who would like to assist and take the courses.

We are anticipating 10 tryout teams: U18AA, U18A, U15AAA, U15AA, U15A, U13AAA, U13A, U11AA, U11A and U9ADV

...and approx. 16 non-tryout teams at the following levels: U15-18C, U13C, U11C, U9 Development and U7.

Coaches are required to complete certain credentials and courses as listed here:

These courses are conducted in August-November and cost of approved coaches is covered by Blizzard Hockey.

Head coach selection for tryout teams is made by an independent three-person panel convened by the Director of Coaching and Rep Programs and approved by Blizzard's Board of Directors. The independent panelists can not have a child trying out for the team in question. The selection panel may conduct an interview in-person or by Zoom.
